A leading healthcare institution in Manchester seeks a Porter to transfer patients and goods while ensuring safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include moving patients, handling clinical waste, and delivering clean linen. The role offers a permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week, primarily Mon-Fri 12:00–20:00. The portering department transfers patients, goods and other items around the trust in a prompt, professional and efficient manner. Porters respond to requests for their services quickly to provide a positive patient experience in a safe, professional manner and first-class service that epitomises the Christie reputation.
This is a permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week. This will be Mon-Fri 12:00–20:00. The role involves working on the front line and maintaining a polite and respectable approach at all times.
