A charity organization in the United Kingdom is looking for a Policy and Public Affairs Co-ordinator. Ready to take the next step in your public affairs career? Family Fund are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Policy and Public Affairs Co-ordinator to help co-ordinate the work of our new team in securing a better future for families raising disabled and seriously ill children.
As Policy and Public Affairs Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in monitoring Government strategy and policy developments and in helping to shape Family Fund’s policy positions. You will work closely with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, as part of a small team dedicated to making a better future for families raising disabled and seriously ill children.
In this role, you will draft responses to consultations and contribute to public affairs external media activity and campaigns. You will also be involved in co‑ordinating and contributing to Government engagement activity.
For this role you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must have proven experience of report writing for different audiences and managing a diverse workload. You will have accurate and high‑level document presentation skills. You will also have excellent analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to meet deadlines and performance targets.
