Plumbing Lecturer

Location: Canterbury, Kent
Hours: 37 per week
Schedule: Mon-Thu 08:30-17:00, Fri 08:30-16:30
Pay: £40-£65 per hour

Role Summary:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Plumbing Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching to apprentices up to Phase 3. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated individual who is passionate about developing future talent within the plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Plumbing up to Level 3.
  • Teach and support Phase 3 apprentices, ensuring they meet qualification standards.
  • Prepare, assess, and support learners working towards City & Guilds qualifications.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with apprenticeship and academic requirements.
  • Contribute to programme development and quality improvement.
Essential Requirements:
  • Level 3 Plumbing qualification (non‑negotiable). Candidates without this qualification cannot be considered.
  • Experience delivering City & Guilds Plumbing qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards.
  • Teaching Qualification at Level 5 (required if being considered for Programme Director responsibilities).
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
Desirable:
  • Experience supporting or leading apprenticeship programmes.
  • Ability to step into a Programme Director role for the right candidate.
