A local council authority in Worksop is seeking a skilled plumber to join their dedicated team in the Housing Repairs Service. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving tenant homes, ensuring safety and comfort within the community. Required qualifications include a NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and 3 GCSE's including Maths or English. Salary Grade 4 i.e. £28,598 - £31,022 per annum

Bassetlaw District Council’s Housing Repairs Service is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Plumber to join our friendly and dedicated team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the homes of our tenants across the district — ensuring comfort, safety, and peace of mind for hundreds of residents.
The hours of work will be 37 hours per week made up by working 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Friday. You will also be required to participate in the out of normal hours’ rota to cover Plumbing.
Suitable candidates will possess 3 GCSE's Grade C or above (or equivalent) to include Maths or English. A trade qualification NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or above is required, and Unvented domestic hot water qualification is desirable.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they have used a wide range of skills in a building and maintenance environment as well as possessing excellent customer care skills in order to provide a high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
