Job Title: Plumber (SC Cleared / Willing to Obtain) Immediate Start

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plumber for an immediate start on a long‑term mechanical and pipework project at an AWE site in Reading. The role involves high-spec installation of drainage and press‑fit copper systems, working within a secure and highly regulated environment.

A DBS is required for this role; if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to undergo the check.

Security Clearance (Important)

You must hold SC clearance or be willing to obtain it. SC clearance for this project is site‑specific. Unless you already hold valid SC clearance for the contractor, a new clearance process will be required. Full guidance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of HDPE / terrain drainage systems
• Installation of press‑fit copper pipework for mechanical systems
• Working to site safety standards and security protocols
• Coordinating with the site team to ensure timely, high-quality installation
• Following all procedures associated with secure facility operations
