Job Title: Plumber
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Sector: Property Services
Location: Bedfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: £21.00 - £24.00 per hour

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Plumber to join a responsive repairs team within a not-for-profit housing provider, supporting the maintenance, repair, and improvement of affordable homes across Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plumber seeking long‑term, stable employment within the property services sector.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance, including leak detection, pipework repairs, and installation of bath panels, taps, and other plumbing components.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently while working in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Using a handheld electronic device to receive job instructions, update progress, and accurately record completed or outstanding works.
  • Providing excellent customer service and acting as a professional representative of the housing provider.
  • Managing van stock levels and ordering materials in line with group specifications.
  • Maintaining accurate job records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Participating in the out‑of‑hours (OOH) standby rota when required.
