About the Role

As a plasterer, you'll be responsible for a wide variety of plastering tasks within occupied and void social housing properties. This role requires versatility, a strong customer focus, and a commitment to delivering excellent standards.

Responsibilities

• Skimming and re-skimming walls and ceilings to a high standard.
• Patching and repairing damaged plasterwork.
• Applying render to external and internal walls.
• Rendering and finishing surfaces to prepare them for decoration.
• Working efficiently and cleanly within residents' homes, ensuring minimal disruption and leaving properties tidy.
• Interacting respectfully and professionally with residents and colleagues.
• Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies, especially when working in occupied properties.

Required Skills / Experience

• Proven and highly experienced as a plasterer, with a significant background in domestic work.
• A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
• Asbestos awareness, manual handling and working at heights.
• Experience in social housing or similar residential maintenance environments is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging positively with residents.
• Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated, with a strong work ethic.
• Able to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
