Plant Operator – Cylinder Test Facility (Stoke-on-Trent)

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 5HB
Duration: 6 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week

Overview

As a Cylinder Test Operator, you will be responsible for inspection, refurbishment and validation activities that ensure the safety, compliance and quality of industrial gas cylinders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out cylinder, valve and pack inspections
  • Complete refurbishment and re-validation of industrial and integrated products
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Conduct fault inspections and escalate issues as required
  • Undertake additional duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support operations
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of City & Guilds in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent
  • Forklift truck licence (advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided)
