A local government organization is seeking Planning Officers to manage planning applications and contribute to development projects. The successful candidates will determine applications and assist in delivering plans. This role is ideal for both experienced professionals and recent graduates. The salary ranges from £35,780 to £37,566, with opportunities for flexible working and various employee benefits.
Planning Officers (two posts)
Salary: Planning Officers (Two Posts) Grade 9 (£35,780 - £37,566) (plus Market Supplement of £1,441)
Broxtowe is a diverse urban and rural area to the west of Nottingham. The Borough is home to a wide range of businesses including leading telecommunication, retail and pharmaceutical companies. The Council has an adopted Core Strategy (Part 1 Local Plan prepared with our neighbours across Greater Nottingham) to secure significant growth and inward investment. The Part 2 Local Plan was adopted in 2019 and includes site allocations and development management policies to assist in delivering this growth. Broxtowe are also shortly due to submit an updated Core Strategy, following collaborative work within the Greater Nottingham Strategic Plan (GNSP) partnership group.
