We're supporting a well-established manufacturing business near Hemel Hempstead who are seeking a Planning & Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team.

You’ll be responsible for managing customer orders maintaining production schedules and supporting the dispatch process ensuring products are built shipped and delivered on time.

This role would suit a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills and experience in manufacturing logistics or production administration.

Planning & Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain customer orders accurately within the MRP system.
  • Plan and release production work orders in line with schedules and customer demand.
  • Prepare job documentation for the shop floor including job cards and drawings.
  • Track and update production progress ensuring data remains accurate and up to date.
  • Support dispatch activities by producing delivery notes invoices and certificates.
  • Liaise closely with Production Operations and Customer Service to ensure smooth workflow.
Planning & Logistics Coordinator Profile
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Confident communicator able to liaise effectively across departments.
  • Experience with MRP or ERP systems (e.g. SAP IFS) is essential.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Self-motivated adaptable and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced setting.
