A global engineering company is seeking a Planning Engineer based in Plymouth to support critical national defense projects. The successful candidate will develop project schedules and ensure milestones are met using tools such as Primavera P6. Essential qualifications include experience in engineering, strong planning skills, and a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English. As a Planning Engineer, you’ll have a role where your analytical skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to national defence capability, while giving you the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and purposeful environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll provide critical project planning and scheduling expertise to support Engineering Services across site‑wide facilities. You’ll develop and maintain programmes that keep complex engineering projects on track, ensuring resources are aligned and milestones achieved.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
