A public sector client in North Warwickshire seeks a Forward Planning & Economic Development Manager to oversee planning strategies and community engagement. This full-time position requires a relevant degree and RTPI membership, along with experience in local authorities. The role involves managing planning frameworks, leading economic strategies, and collaborating with local stakeholders. The position offers £32 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £25 per hour PAYE).
A client within the Public Sector based in North Warwickshire is currently recruiting for a Forward Planning & Economic Development Manager to join their Forward Planning team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority in a planning and economic development environment.
The key purpose of this role is to lead and manage all aspects of forward planning and economic strategy, including plan preparation, policy input, conservation initiatives, and community engagement. You will oversee the Heritage & Conservation team and contribute to the strategic direction of the Division, supporting the Corporate Director of Place as required.
