Main duties and responsibilities: A pizza chef, also known as a pizzaiolo, is responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas according to customer orders. Here are the key responsibilities and skills required for the job:

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing Pizza Dough: Mixing, kneading, and shaping dough to create the perfect pizza base

Topping and Cooking Pizzas: Adding ingredients according to recipes, monitoring oven temperatures, and cooking pizzas to perfection

Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring workstations, utensils, and equipment are clean and sanitized

Inventory Management: Monitoring supplies, placing orders, and managing food storage

Customer Service: Providing excellent service, handling orders, and resolving customer complaints

Essential criteria:

Culinary Knowledge: Understanding of ingredients, recipes, and pizza-making techniques
