A leading engineering firm in Scotland is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a Process Piping background for a long-term contract based in Ayrshire. The role involves overseeing all piping-related work packages to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating teams, monitoring work progress, and ensuring the effective execution of piping tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of piping systems, engineering qualifications, and proven experience in similar roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in piping or mechanical engineering on construction or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of piping systems and isometric interpretation.
• Familiarity with standards such as ASME, EN, PED, BS, ISO or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of piping-related work packages ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, planning, procurement teams.
