Recruit4staff are representing a well‑established engineering and fabrication company in their search for a Pipe Welder to work in Skelmersdale.

Job Role

The Pipe Welder will carry out TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, following technical drawings to complete precision welds. The role also involves quality inspection of finished work to ensure high standards. This is a hands‑on position focused on welding accuracy and structural integrity.

Job Details

• Pay: £23.00 - £24.00 per hour (CIS)
• Hours of Work: Core hours 7 am‑3:30 pm Monday to Thursday; Friday 7 am‑12 pm
• Duration: Temporary
• Benefits: Overtime paid at enhanced rates

Essential Skills & Experience

• TIG welding of stainless steel and carbon steel
• Working from drawings

Desired Skills & Experience

• Coded TIG welder for 6G
• Some fabrication experience
• Experience with steel fabrication
