Wold Farms Ltd are based in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, breeding and rearing pigs to RSPCA Assured standards. We are part of industry leading food producer Cranswick plc, a progressive FTSE Company.

An opportunity has arisen at our unit near Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire for a farm manager. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join our fast paced ever growing business with a bright future.

Main Duties:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of a 7, place 7kg – 40kg nursery unit.
  • Working with pigs on an indoor straw-based unit to ensure their health and wellbeing, including feeding, moving, feed ordering, liaising with vets and handling the pigs.
  • Working to high standards of animal welfare
  • Maintaining the condition and appearance of the farm
  • Operating farm machinery
You will need:
  • Experience with livestock or an agricultural background is essential
  • Ability to prioritise and complete tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivation and a good work ethic

  • Full time, permanent position available
