Adult and Urgent Community Response (AUCR) Division Therapy Services - Bromley Healthcare. Bromley Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to join our staff bank. These flexible opportunities include both ad hoc and regular work within our UCR Therapy services, supporting clients across Bromley. We welcome applications from therapists with specialist skills in: Generalist therapists, Pulmonary rehabilitation, Ward-based rehabilitation, Neurorehabilitation. We also welcome applicants for remote-only roles.
About the role
The post holder will deliver high-quality, specialist intervention to clients living in their own homes or residential care settings. You will provide comprehensive assessments, develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans, and work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to reduce the impact of disability and ill health. As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for enabling the client to achieve and maintain a level of independent functioning in order to remain at home or the most appropriate alternative community setting.
You will be required to: apply a high level of understanding of the effect of disability and provide training and advice on lifestyle changes and adaptations to the clients\' social and physical environment.
To identify and develop own area of specialism and expertise, and contribute to the resource base within the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Service and other professional groups.
Remote/virtual assessments also available.
