Job Title: Physiotherapist

Reports To: Clinic Operations Manager

About the Role

The Physiotherapist delivers expert musculoskeletal (MSK) and outpatient care, helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and achieve measurable results. The role combines clinical skill, professional judgment, and patient‑centred care aligned with LIPS Healthcare’s values and CQC quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of MSK and orthopaedic conditions.
  • Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Use a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and referring doctors to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document clinical notes accurately and promptly using the clinic’s electronic system.
Professional Standards
  • Uphold the highest standards of clinical practice, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with CQC, GDPR, and professional codes of conduct.
  • Participate in clinical audits, multidisciplinary meetings, and service development initiatives.
  • Support the clinic’s culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Patient Experience
  • Work closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate treatment pathways.
  • Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, and preventive strategies to sustain long‑term health.

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 3 years’ post‑qualification experience in an outpatient or MSK setting.
  • HCPC registration (Physiotherapist).
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑centred approach.
  • Confident with electronic health record systems and digital workflow.
Desirable
  • Registered provider with BUPA and other major insurers.
  • Professional indemnity insurance in place.
  • Experience in a private healthcare environment or multidisciplinary clinic.
  • Additional certifications in sports rehabilitation or manual therapy.
