Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our specialist Hand Therapy and Upper Limb team, working across University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) and the Hospital of St Cross in Rugby. This cross-site role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of complex musculoskeletal and post-operative conditions within the Hand Therapy & MSK teams, contribute to evidence based service delivery, service development and support junior staff. Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of patients with varying diagnoses and/or complex needs, using evidence based and client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in a defined clinical area.
  • Ensure development of junior staff through supervision, training and annual appraisal.
  • Participate in the planning, development and evaluation of clinical practice and service development within the area.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and development of the Trust Therapy service.
  • Take a lead for information management to ensure high quality data is recorded, evaluated and reported in a timely manner.
