Job description

Philanthropy / Major Gifts Fundraiser, Hybrid Home Counties c£38k + extensive benefits

Fantastic opportunity for a Philanthropy / Major Gifts Fundraiser with this new role we have recently been assigned. We are seeking a Philanthropy / Major Gifts Fundraiser with demonstrable experience in developing and stewarding mid-high donors and gifts between £1k – £10k for (HNWI and small family Trusts & Foundations, etc) at a well-established charity within the International Development arena (children). The role is initially on a 12-month fixed term basis, but the will and intention is for the role to become permanent after this initial contract and then get involved in larger gifts (HNWI, UHNWI and larger applications). There will be some dynamism within the organisation during the initial 12 months likely leading to a more senior and permanent Philanthropy role becoming available if most things go to plan! So, it’s a great opportunity for career development too. The role will work closely with an experienced and highly supportive Director of Fundraising and entail managing relationships with an established portfolio of between 70 – 150 donors and prospects as well as presenting opportunities to develop new and rewarding major donor relationships. It’s a role that is based with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office (very flexible on those hours) with 3 days working remotely in their Home Counties head office location. This is fabulous opportunity for career development and progress with a wonderful causes and organisation where you will receive great support to achieve your professional and personal goals.

Sound interesting? Would you like to know more? We have an annual salary of c£38k + and extensive benefits package available dependent upon experience and a full job description.
