A leading business school based in London is offering PhD studentships in Finance aimed at exceptional graduates. These studentships provide tuition fees and a maintenance grant of £22,780 per annum for four years, starting in October 2026. Successful candidates will engage in comprehensive research training and have opportunities to attend conferences. COURSE STRUCTURE
The PhD track lasts four years with first‑year students taking taught modules across a range of topics as well as in research methodology. Years 2 to 4 are devoted to working on the PhD dissertation; further training includes reading groups in specific research areas, workshops on presentation skills and academic writing and intense pre‑job market training.

We offer up to six PhD studentships in Accounting and Finance, comprising tuition fees and a maintenance grant of £22,780 per annum for four years, starting in October 2026. Studentships also offer funding for conference attendance over four years. A PhD studentship award is also available for Black British students as part of an initiative to address the significant underrepresentation of Black British students in postgraduate research and academia.
PhD studies take place in a challenging and stimulating intellectual environment that questions received wisdom and explores the boundaries of knowledge.
