A leading healthcare trust in Shrewsbury is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work in Aseptic Services while maintaining clinical skills. You will support various pharmacy services and ensure safe medication practices for cancer patients. The ideal candidate has post-registration experience and excellent organisational skills. We are looking to appoint a Pharmacy Technician who is interested in working within Aseptic Services but would still like to maintain their clinical skills. You will work as part of a team and rotate supporting all areas under the remit of Aseptic and Cancer services; this includes Aseptic Services, Radiopharmacy, Pharmacy Outsourced Service and the Clinical Ward Service. The successful applicant will have post registration experience as a Pharmacy Technician along with excellent organisational skills. We are a very friendly team and have great working relationships with the clinicians and nursing staff within cancer services. This post may be offered under Annex 21 AfC Terms & Conditions or as a progressional post, subject to experience, competency and suitability. This role is part of a team that helps prepare and manage medicines for patients, especially those with cancer.

The Clinical Ward service provides an expert support service to the clinical teams, working on the wards and supporting inpatients who have been admitted with Cancer. You will work closely with the Clinical Cancer Pharmacy team providing a medicines management service.
