Consett Medical Centre is looking torecruit a Pharmacy Technician to join an established pharmacy team to maximisesafe, cost-effective prescribing to improve the quality of patient care.
The postholder will help patients get the bestfromtheir medicines, use existing protocols to maximise cost-effective prescribing,improve repeat prescribing processes, minimising clinical risk and reducingavoidable wasted medicines
In addition, the post holder will develop and encourage a positive culture of medicines optimisation principles to assist the practice achieve local and national medicines related objectives.
Consett Medical Centre is a large GP Practicewith over 17,000 patients.This job description is intended asguide to the principal duties and responsibilities of the post. COMMUNICATIONSAND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reportsto the Practice Pharmacist Team on a day-to-day basis.
Liaisewith all practice staff, attached staff, external agencies including CCG staffand members of the public.
Maintainconfidentiality.
