A prominent NHS Trust in England is seeking a proactive individual to join their Stores and Distribution team. The role involves supporting the distribution of pharmaceutical products and maintaining stock levels within the pharmacy. No prior experience in a pharmacy is needed, but candidates should have good communication skills, attention to detail, and basic IT skills. The position requires rotating through Epsom Pharmacy and participating in the weekend and Bank Holiday rota.
How would you like to be part of a busy team rotating between St Helier and Epsom Hospitals?
The Stores and Distribution team within Pharmacy provides the medicine supply service for three dispensaries, all wards and departments at Epsom and St Helier hospitals and a wide variety of local community clinics. No previous hospital or pharmacy experience required, just a willingness to take on a dynamic and rewarding role supplying medicines to fellow healthcare professionals for use within the Trust and local community.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills, basic IT skills and have a good attention to detail. Evidence of previous basic experience of stock control and maintenance, such as stock rotation, ordering and/or receiving stock should be included in your application. There is a requirement to rotate through the Epsom Pharmacy and participate in the weekend and Bank Holiday rota.
