A prominent NHS foundation trust in England is seeking a Service Manager for the Stockton Quality Control Laboratory. The role involves operational leadership across services, monitoring KPIs, and team management. Ideal candidates will have specialist knowledge in pharmaceutical quality assurance and experience in delivering technical services. This service manager post will provide day-to-day operational leadership for all services from Stockton Quality Control Laboratory (SQCL). SQCL is the largest NHS regional QC service, delivering services across North East and North Cumbria (NENC) and to other parts of the UK, including NHS and private customers.
Stockton Quality Control Laboratory is an MHRA-inspected laboratory serving the North East and North Cumbria and Yorkshire regions, offering comprehensive quality control services including microbiology and specialist ventilation systems testing. The laboratory is located at the University Hospital of North Tees.
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust now form University Hospitals Tees; you may be required to work at any site across both Trusts.
