Assist the Procurement and Distribution (P&D) Team Leader in delivering safe, high‑quality patient centred Procurement and Distribution services (P&D). This includes all aspects of medicine storage, including medical gases, aligned with the guidance document "Rules and Guidance for Pharmaceutical Distributors" and the Trust's Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (for medicines for human use) aka WDA(H).
Support the planning, development, monitoring, audit, evaluation and delivery of the P&D services across the Trust. Ensure that working practices meet the requirements of medicines legislation as well as professional, local and national guidelines. Implement necessary changes to deliver a comprehensive, high quality service.
