Job summary

A community pharmacy in Falkirk is seeking a friendly and reliable Pharmacy Assistant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, assisting with prescriptions and providing customer support while thriving in a busy environment. The position offers structured training, and you will work closely with an experienced team, making a real difference in the local community. No prior pharmacy experience is required, and full training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacy experience is helpful but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Willing to complete required training programmes, some of which may take place outside normal working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and customers and offering help in a warm, professional way.
  • Supporting the pharmacy team including Dispensers, Technicians, and the Pharmacist.
  • Promoting pharmacy services and advising on over-the-counter medicines.
  • Receiving and handing out prescriptions under the guidance of the Pharmacist.
  • Keeping the pharmacy organised and running smoothly.
  • Completing essential day-to-day pharmacy tasks.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm

Lunch: 1 hour unpaid break

Contract: 40 hours per week

The Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Dollar. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, setting the tone for their experience in the pharmacy every day.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm in a busy environment and is keen to learn. No two days are the same and you will be fully supported by an experienced pharmacy team.

What you will be doing
