Overview

Clarity is recruiting for Pharmacist for a thriving family-owned pharmacy group based in North-East Essex. This position will be to cover a few pharmacies in the small group.

What you need to know

This is a permanent & full-time opportunity, working 5 days weekly. The rota will be done 3 months in advance, and no late nights past 6pm on average, alternate Saturdays being asked.

You will be supported by a team of pharmacists and technicians and will receive a guaranteed break daily while the pharmacy closes for lunch.

What you'll be doing
  • Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
  • Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
  • Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
  • Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Order and stock medications and medical supplies.
