A leading NHS Trust in Southampton is seeking a Pharmacist for a unique role supporting community pharmacy research engagement. You will collaborate across networks while promoting research opportunities in primary care settings. The position requires a Master's degree in Pharmacy and GPhC registration. This is a 9-month short-term contract with a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710.

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work collaboratively across the South Central Regional Research Delivery Network (SC RRDN) to engage community pharmacies within the primary care setting in research delivery.

The work will involve reviewing the current NIHR portfolio and identifying the attributes of research studies that would make them suitable for community pharmacy involvement.

The post holder will be part of an expert team supporting the delivery of the expected outcomes and will be exposed to leadership and collaboration activities. You will become part of the pharmacy department at UHS, a large and progressive department with nationally recognised pharmacy leaders.
The post has been funded by a strategic funding stream through the SC RRDN and is a short-term contract for 9‑month duration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
