Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the safe and effective running of the pharmacy and healthcare business while staying visible and accessible to patients and your team.
  • Taking ownership of commercial and clinical performance, with a focus on raising standards and delivering strong patient outcomes.
  • Delivering NHS, locally commissioned, and private services and embracing the use of technology to enhance the patient experience.
  • Consistently monitoring and evaluating pharmacy standards and safety to ensure patients, customers, and team members are always protected.
  • Working in partnership with the Store Manager to develop the capability, confidence, and cohesion of the healthcare team.
  • Inspiring and coaching colleagues to grow in their roles, building a team culture based on performance, development, and shared ambition.

What you’ll need to have

  • Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, or PSI)
  • A growth mindset – you’re someone who is always looking to improve, learn, and lead change
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to build trusted relationships with patients, your team, and local healthcare professionals
  • Experience in driving pharmacy performance and leading with a high standard of patient care
  • A desire to deliver and champion essential, advanced, and private pharmacy services
  • The confidence to own results, set a clear vision, and bring others along on the journey
