Job description

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide immunization services (where applicable)
• Offer advice on over‑the‑counter medications and healthcare products
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: Up to £32.75 for a very experienced candidate; additional £3.80 per hour supplement for qualified IP
• Other Incentives: £5,000 welcome bonus or £8,000 relocation package
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 to 18:30 and one Saturday in four (some flexibility available)

The branch is staffed by an experienced team, including an experienced Pharmacist Manager (ACPT) and 6 Healthcare Partners, providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a beautiful part of Wales. The branch isn't far from the beaches of Anglesey and the mountains of Snowdonia. Currently dispensing around 13,000 tems per month, this is a relatively busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.
