Overview

Personal Care Assistant, full-time, £16.63 per hour, Boroughbridge. 5.6 weeks holiday pro-rata. Hours: Monday 8.30am – 4.30pm; Tuesday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm. This role supports a friendly, sociable young lady with learning disabilities. You must be active and like the outdoors, supporting at home and during activities and outings. This is a very rewarding role supporting a young person who likes to share in activities and experiences.

Requirements
  • Experience in providing high quality and responsive support for young adults with additional needs, including autism.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle; a vehicle is provided for driving at work as we live in a rural area close to the A1.
  • You must be able to keep up with an active young lady.
  • Knowledge of BSL is desirable but training can be provided.
  • Female applicants only as some personal care.
