A personal care provider is looking for a friendly and reliable Personal Assistant in Bath, United Kingdom, to support a young adult with daily tasks and community engagement. The role includes light domestic help, social interaction, and community involvement. The ideal candidate should be understanding, patient, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn about specific needs. A DBS check is required, and transporting the individual may necessitate a driving license. Competitive pay at £15 per hour for 10 hours weekly.

I am a friendly and active person living independently in Bath, looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to support me with day-to-day tasks and community activities. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user with conditions including hEDS and POTS, which affect mobility, fatigue, and energy levels. I also have autism and ADHD, which means I benefit from structure, clear communication, and support with executive functioning and social interactions.
My interests include wheelchair basketball, music (singing and playing piano), Harry Potter, languages, and learning about countries and flags. I enjoy being out and about, and would like to work with someone who is supportive, patient, and has a good sense of humour.
The PA will provide practical and social support both at home and in the community. Tasks may include:

You do not need to have formal care experience, but a calm, reliable, and understanding approach is essential. Ideal qualities and experience include:
A DBS check is required for this role (funded).
A driving licence is desirable – a car can be provided for work-related travel.
