A support organization in Hanham, Bristol, is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant for a visually impaired individual. This role involves supporting social engagement and confidence building, facilitating transportation, and managing household tasks. The ideal candidate has experience working with visual impairments, possesses a vehicle, and demonstrates reliability and strong communication skills. Personal Assistant for Disabled Woman in Hanham
My client L has a visual impairment (totally blind). She is new to the area and wants to attend more social opportunities in the area to form more relationships in the community. L has lots of interests, including singing in a Choir and likes walking, hiking and playing Showdown. She would like to go to the gym.
Location: Hanham, South Gloucestershire.
Hours: 10 hours per week. 3 hrs Tuesday (6pm to 9pm), 4hrs Thursday (5pm to 9pm) and 3hrs Saturdays (9am to 12pm)
Pay: £12.40 Per Hour.
Holiday: 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time).
Start Date: ASAP.
