A supportive service provider in Oxford is seeking a Personal Assistant to assist a teenage client with complex health issues. The role involves personal care, medication administration, and support during waking nights. Applicants must be female, with a compassionate approach to care. The position is part-time, offering 12 hours weekly, with benefits such as holiday pro-rata and a company pension scheme after three months of service.

I am a teenager who enjoys playing on my iPad and games consoles with my brothers.
I also enjoy spending time with my carers. I have a lot of complex health issues for which I need support to help me to maintain a healthy lifestyle including a jejunal tube and Non-Invasive Ventilation to support my breathing. I can communicate well and have good awareness of my complex needs and the support that I require.
It is important to me to build good relationships with my PAs to ensure that I feel comfortable at night knowing you will be there to care for me.
You will be required to assist me with all aspects of my personal care as well as supporting me the administration of my medication, my moving and handling needs to include all transfers and regular turning during the night, my ventilation needs and suctioning when as required.
I am looking for someone to join my current team who can provide cover for annual leave, sickness and emergencies as and when required.
Applicants need to be female to support me with my personal care needs.
