Personal Assistant - MAIDSTONE - ME14

Personal Assistant

Hours: 6 hrs term time, 18 hrs non term time
Salary: £12.41
Location: Maidstone area

Description

A young neuro diverse lady who attends a special needs school aged 18 is looking for a PA to support her to access an environment away from the family home.

As a PA, you will be required to provide support in a range of areas, including:

  • Support with behavioural challenges, provide reassurance and prompts around daily routine
  • Share interests in outdoor activities, parks, animals, swimming, and be open to other suggestions
  • Fully support and accompany during outings
  • Be strong-willed and confident, and generally a happy person
  • Support and guide when making purchases for food or toys, etc.

Looking for someone who is open to getting to know the individual, understanding, patient, reliable, and flexible. Able to start as soon as possible. Experience of working as a PA is not necessary, but a keen learner would be an advantage.

If you are friendly, enthusiastic, motivated, and caring, and want to support a young person to help build and maintain independence, this is the job for you.

Hours are flexible, but term time would either be a Saturday or Sunday, and non-term time can be a mix of weekdays and a weekend day.
