Job summary

A private family in Higher Poynton is looking for a personal care assistant to help their client engage with the community, participate in social activities, and occasionally assist with personal care. The client uses a wheelchair and has type 1 diabetes. The role offers 15 hours of work per week at a rate of £12.60 per hour, with pension and holidays accruing. A car is beneficial for community access, and DBS checks can be arranged. Insurance will also be provided by the employer.

Job description

Hours of work: 15 hours weekly to be mutually agreed.

Rate of pay: £12.60 per hour. Pension and holidays will accrue. Rate of pay due to rise in April 2026.

DBS required but can be arranged and funded by employer.
