Personal Advisor – Safeguarding and Family Support – Telford and Wrekin

Pay rate – £21.25 per hour

Pertemps are recruiting for a Personal Advisor to join the Safeguarding and Family Support Team in Telford and Wrekin.

Job Responsibilities

• Undertake the statutory role of Personal Adviser for individual Care experienced young people from age 16 up to the age 21 or 25.
• To be the key professional and case manager to former relevant care experienced young people and, when needed, to those young people who are relevant or qualifying for advice and assistance.
• To work with young people leaving care and their support network to support the development of independent living skills and ensure a smooth transition to independence.
• To assist and support young people to prepare for leaving care and living independently; providing support, advice and guidance to them up to age 25.
