Job summary

A healthcare trust in the UK is looking for a compassionate Assistant Psychologist to join their Perinatal Loss Service. This 12-month fixed-term role offers the chance to contribute to a specialist team providing psychological interventions for women experiencing mental health challenges post-perinatal loss. The successful candidate will engage in assessments and deliver individual therapy, supported by qualified supervision. Applicants need a BPS accredited psychology degree (2.1+) and the ability to travel independently. Competitive salary package included.

Qualifications

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are mandatory.
  • Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society is required.
  • Experience driving a car for travel is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychologically informed assessments and interventions focusing on individual work.
  • Support the team in completing routine outcome measures and database updates.
  • Participate in service-related research and audit.
