Job summary

A leading tech recruitment agency is seeking a Performance Test Engineer for a remote position with potential travel to London. The role requires strong Java and/or Python skills, along with experience in performance testing, reporting, and automation. This position is UK-based and requires BPSS clearance.

Performance Test Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Remote, potential occasional travel to London

Essential Skills & Experience

• Java, JMeter, Shell scripting, JIRA, Confluence, Python
• Experience with performance testing and reporting, basic performance diagnosis and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of running Ansible playbooks desirable
• Basic understanding of Grafana

We are looking for candidates that are always looking for creative and innovative ways to automate and improve manual processes using any tools at their disposal, in order to accelerate both repetitive tasks and complex analysis jobs. Candidates should be familiar with Java and/or Python and have some knowledge of performance testing and reporting, including basic performance diagnosis and root cause analysis. Familiarity with running Ansible playbooks is desirable along with at minimum a basic understanding of Grafana.
