Job Purpose

The People Services Administrator at ASDA People Services will play a key role in providing administrative support within the People Services Function. This role involves purchase order raising, print / dispatch of colleague letters, contractual and statutory documentation (SSP1 forms) production, issue of discount cards, Long Service awards, stationery management (predominantly letters and envelopes), franking machine top up, general facilities for the office and any other general administrative support required to support the People Services teams to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes within the organisation.

The role will require a focus on ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations while providing support to the People Services team regarding day‑to‑day Support Services related matters.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, and to provide the highest level of support and customer satisfaction and deliver an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities
  • Support Services Operations:
    • Ensure efficient and effective closure of requests related to documentation, letter generation, issue of discount cards, Long Service awards, general facilities for the office, room booking events, print and dispatch to defined methods, procedures, and standard delivery solutions and deliver operational excellence.
    • Work with specialist teams to identify Support Services requests and drive closure of those requests.
    • Deliver high customer satisfaction by ensuring transactions are executed accurately and as per agreed upon SLAs.
  • Data Management:
    • Deliver high customer satisfaction by ensuring transactions are executed accurately and as per agreed upon SLAs.
  • Skills:
    • General administrative skills and experience.
    • Ideally experienced in HR practices and ways of working.
    • Strong stakeholder management & collaboration skills to efficiently work with colleagues and cross‑functional teams.

    • Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure timely resolution, effective prioritisation as well as managing multiple challenges and demands in a fast‑paced working environment.
