We're offering an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal role within our People Partnering team for Insurance, Pensions & Investments (IP&I). As a commercially minded and forward-thinking People Partner, you'll work in true partnership with senior executive leaders to influence strategy, shape culture and enable high performing, inclusive teams across a business central to the Group's growth agenda. You'll thrive in a high-performance, people-centred culture where accountability matters, simplicity drives impact, and strong relationships enable the business to move with clarity and pace. You'll bring a strategic lens to people priorities, translating business ambition into practical, outcome-focused people solutions that support long-term organisational success. A typical day is anything but typical. You'll span the full colleague lifecycle, applying commercial insight and strategic thinking to areas such as workforce planning, organisational design, talent strategy, reward, culture, and inclusion. You'll cut through complexity to deliver simple, effective solutions; hold yourself and others to account and create the conditions for teams to perform at their best. This is a role for someone who can connect the dots, see what's ahead, and influence leaders to make people-centred decisions that drive sustainable performance, enabling our business to deliver, inclusively, confidently, and at pace.

What We Need From You
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing pragmatic, evidence-based people advice.
  • Deliver the business area people strategy aligned to IP&I and Group People and Places priorities.
  • Lead organisational change initiatives, experience in strategic workforce planning would be highly advantageous.
  • Drive talent, succession, and capability planning to build high-performing, inclusive teams.
  • Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, shaping proactive interventions.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to deliver joined-up solutions.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Support governance, risk, and regulatory requirements in line with LBG policies and controls. Extensive experience in strategic HR and senior executive level business partnering.
  • Proven track record in performance, talent, strategic workforce planning and culture transformation.
  • Strong relationship management, influencing, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments and lead through change.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to connect the dots.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
