A leading retail company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist based in Dunstable, UK. This role involves managing employee relations (ER) cases and providing guidance to managers across Retail. You will coach managers through ER case handling and ensure all cases meet high standards for conciliation. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in ER issues and case management and must excel in building relationships. This role is primarily Head Office based but may include travel to stores in London and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for managing ER cases in Retail. Working as part of the People Advice team and supporting line managers across Retail. You’ll provide expert guidance and case management to ensure absence, disciplinary, performance and grievance matters are dealt with in a timely and proactive manner. You’ll support the People Partner & People Business Partners in identifying training needs as well as identifying key trends. You’ll coach managers through ER case handling ensuring we treat people fairly. You’ll ensure all cases meet the high standards ready for any future conciliation or tribunal. You’ll share and seek best practice within the People and Retail teams, and you’ll share this within the People Advice team. You’ll also proactively feed any themes or areas you’ve identified through your support of these cases to your People Partner. You’ll keep up to date with current employment legislation. With a wealth of ER experience, you will support the wider people team providing support and advice.
