Job description

Brand new role offering the opportunity for exposure to an unparalleled breadth of responsibilities.

Perhaps you have a background within pension secretariat work and are looking for more exposure. While collaborating with Senior Consultants and Partners on the team, work will include but will not be limited to : navigating a diverse client portfolio, working on DB Trust schemes, involvement with drafting and preparing reports, and preparing for, attending, and actioning points from client meetings.

With lots of room for autonomy and variety while working for a company who understand work‑life balance, this could be your next career move.

This role is based in London, but you can work from home, attending the office just once a month, plus client meetings. Or if you prefer being in the office, you are welcome to attend – whatever works best for you.

Responsibilities
  • Setting client objectives in all areas of pension schemes
  • Fostering strong client relationships and understanding their unique needs
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in scheme management and service delivery
  • Preparing for and attending client meetings, providing expert advice
  • Supporting the implementation of tailored client solutions through effective communication
  • Trustee secretariat and governance
  • Managing client tasks and workflows, prioritising and delegating as needed
  • Delivering member presentations and one‑to‑one member surgeries
  • Drafting reports and preparing material to accurately inform scheme members
Requirements
  • APMI qualification or nearing completion
  • Proven experience in a consultancy environment
  • Scheme secretariat and governance experience
