Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK is looking for a paediatric nurse to join their team in Northampton. You will care for children aged 3 to 18 years undergoing day case surgical procedures. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality care, conducting pre-assessment clinics, and collaborating with the Children & Young Persons Lead Nurse. Qualifications

• Be NMC qualified and have some post‑registration experience in a surgical ward environment.
• Have various levels of post‑registration experience – preferably in a children's surgical setting.
• Be an excellent communicator and team worker – plus be flexible and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to children from the age of 3 years including their pre/post‑operative stay on the ward.
• Conduct pre assessment clinics/nurse‑led outpatients clinics (0‑18 years).
• Play a vital role in the child’s journey through the hospital.
