We are looking for energetic, authoritative, and motivated PE Teachers and Sports Instructors to join our supply team covering secondary schools in Rayleigh.

Whether you are a qualified PE Teacher looking for flexible work, or an experienced Sports Coach with a background in leading large groups, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in local schools without the burden of planning or paperwork.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be supervising students during practical activities, ensuring participation, and maintaining safety standards.

Key duties include:

• Leading practical PE lessons (Football, Netball, Rugby, Athletics, etc.).
• Managing behaviour effectively in an open/outdoor environment.
• Ensuring the safety of all students during activities.
• Supervising changing rooms and equipment set-up/pack-down.
• Motivating students to participate and stay active.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: Previous experience teaching PE or coaching sports to young people (11-16 years old).
• Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred, but experienced Sports Coaches/Instructors with a degree are also encouraged to apply.
• Attitude: Resilient, energetic, and able to command a class.
• Logistics: Lives local to Rayleigh and has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
