Contract: 1 term intially (September 2025 - December 2025) - Full Time

Smart Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of PE to join a thriving South London secondary school for a one-term contract starting September 2025.

The Role
We are looking for a well-qualified teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4 PE.

You will join a supportive and collaborative department with a strong track record of student achievement. The successful candidate will be committed to high expectations, excellent subject knowledge, and fostering a love of learning in all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.

  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress, providing appropriate challenge and support.

  • Contribute to departmental development and share best practice.

  • Engage in enrichment or intervention activities to support learning outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS (or equivalent) with experience teaching PE

  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.

  • The ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students of all abilities.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Duration: 1 term (potential for extension)

  • Hours: Full-time
