Job Summary

PDI Technician needed in Chester. Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, repairs, and customer service. Requires NVQ level 3 and 2+ years of experience.

Location & Compensation

Warrington – Main Dealership, £37,200 basic salary. Average uncapped bonus of £4,800 per year, with potential to earn more. 5 days a week, centre closed on Sundays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair using technical knowledge.
  • Test, diagnose, and resolve faults, suggesting process improvements.
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems, including clutches, timing belts, and diagnostics in vehicle electrics, brake, steering and suspension.
  • Inspect components for wear and tear and perform replacement work.
Required Qualifications
  • Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, or time served experience.
  • Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and complex repairs (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical).
  • Access to hybrid training, ATA & MOT Tester qualifications encouraged.
