Job summary

A mental health service provider in Bristol is seeking an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. This full-time role involves delivering specialist services for children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviors. The ideal candidate must have qualifications in nursing, psychology, or relevant health/social care fields and additional training in Positive Behaviour Support. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to improve the care of vulnerable children, contributing to service development and providing specialist training.

Qualifications

  • Must be a qualified Nurse, Psychologist or other health and social care professional with additional training in PBS.
  • Experience in delivering specialist services for children with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist Positive Behavioural Support services for children and young people.
  • Deliver direct assessment/intervention services to children and their carers.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team professionally accountable for practice.
