Job summary

A leading payroll solutions provider in the UK is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support their payroll team through various projects until April 2026. Responsibilities include managing pension data, preparing payroll reports, and mapping staff work hours. Ideal candidates will possess experience with pension providers, strong computer literacy, and excellent communication skills. This role offers £20–22 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with pension providers.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Organisational skills are critical for working under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with moving to a different payroll provider.
  • Map all staff work hours to their profiles.
  • Prepare reports and inform departments of payroll results.
  • Manage sickness and absence reporting.

Skills

Experience working with various pension providers
High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience with benefits administration

You will be a key part of the payroll team assisting with the following.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Pension
    • Moving to a different payroll provider
    • Irish prep for Ireland Auto Enrolment Go Live 1st Jan
  • Work Schedules
    • All staff work hours are mapped to their profiles.
  • Unit 4 Issues
  • Post Payroll
    • Reports
    • Analysis
    • Informing the depts of the results
  • Sickness/Absence Reporting
  • Payroll Benefit In Kind– Go Live for April 2026
  • PSA data and analysis
Essential Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience working with various pension providers
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with benefits administration
  • High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
  • Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience working on various projects.
  • Experience using Agresso.
  • A fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislation
  • Experience with excel and spreadsheets
